We have a cogeneration engine that uses fuel recovered from the Marpol I waste from ships as a power source.

The plant has a capacity of 80,000 tonnes a year and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The solid waste that collected in the ships that arrived at the Port of Bilbao in 2016 was the equivalent of that of a town of 20,000 inhabitants. What is done with it?
